Care labels use a standard set of symbols for washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and dry cleaning — but most people never learn to read them, and guess instead.
A tub means washing and the number inside is the maximum temperature; a circle means dry cleaning; a triangle relates to bleaching; and a square with a circle means tumble drying. A crossed-out symbol always means do not.
When in doubt, let professionals decide. PRESSO reads and respects every care label, then applies expert judgement to choose the gentlest effective process.
