Dry cleaning is not actually dry — it uses a liquid solvent instead of water to clean fabrics that would shrink, lose shape or bleed colour in a washing machine. Structured garments like suits, and delicate fibres like silk and wool, are classic candidates.
Water-based washing, on the other hand, is ideal for cottons, linens and synthetics that tolerate agitation and can be tumble dried. Reading the care label is the safest first step, but the label is conservative and sometimes over-cautious.
PRESSO inspects every garment’s fabric and construction before deciding on a method, so your clothes get the gentlest effective process rather than a one-size-fits-all wash.
